Costmetic dentist Kettering OH Your smile is an important feature, and often times the first thing a person notices about you.  To enhance and improve your smile, Dr. William Almoney and Dr. Gerald Brown offer their patients in Kettering, cosmetic dentistry services.

Repairing a damaged or dull smile is easy with modern dentistry. Referred to as cosmetic dentistry, there are numerous smile-enhancing dental treatments available to turn even the most damaged teeth into a bright, beautiful smile. From teeth whitening procedures to veneers and tissue lifting, our Kettering cosmetic dentists can help you easily step into the New Year with a more confident, stunning smile.

A Brighter Smile with Professional Teeth Whitening in Kettering

It’s not uncommon for years of drinking tea and coffee or bad habits like, smoking to gradually result in a discolored smile. With teeth whitening, eliminating stains and enhancing your natural white can produce dramatic results in as little as an hour.  In-office teeth bleaching performed by a professional dentist involves applying a bleaching gel to the teeth and activating the whitening solution with special lighting for approximately 30 minutes. Once the bleaching gel has penetrated the stains, it is rinsed off.

Dr. Almoney and Dr. Brown, our cosmetic dentists in Kettering, will provide you with trays, custom designed to perfectly fit your teeth so that you can continue the bleaching process at home with a less powerful gel. By using the gel and the trays on a regular basis, you can touch up and continue the bleaching process. Or, if some years later you notice your teeth shade fading, you can use the trays and gel to bleach again, without having to go through the in-office procedure.

The Total Smile Makeover with Veneers

If your teeth are cracked, stained, uneven or chipped, veneers may be the perfect option for transforming the most damaged smile.  These thin, porcelain shells are custom-designed by our cosmetic dentists in our Kettering office to perfectly cover and match your natural smile to mask most any dental blemish, including stains and cracks. In some cases, veneers are even a viable alternative to braces. Compared to many treatment options, veneers will last a long time, up to 20 years, and correct the alignment of your smile by covering damaged or misshapen teeth.

Replace Missing Teeth with Dental Implants in Kettering

Are you missing a tooth or multiple teeth?  If you are, there is an appropriate solution to bring your smile back to life.  Traditionally, missing teeth were often replaced with fixed bridges or dentures, but more recently dental implants have become a more comfortable, effective and permanent solution.  Dental implants will look, function and feel like your own natural teeth.

The loss of teeth can have a significant impact on your life and self-esteem due to aesthetic implications.  Additionally, missing teeth can cause bite problems and difficulties with eating. Dental implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of your tooth that is normally occupied by the root.  As with any restoration of your teeth, implants require diligent oral hygiene and proper care to ensure they last a long time.

This season, resolve to get a healthy, more confident smile with cosmetic dentistry from our Kettering dentists at Almoney & Brown Dental. Talk to Dr. William Almoney and Dr. Gerald Brown, our cosmetic dentists serving Kettering, OH, about cosmetic dentistry, your goals for treatment, and which options may be best for your teeth. In as little as one appointment, you’ll be smiling bigger.

Almoney and Brown Dental is now offering ZOOM WHITENING!

More and more people are asking us to improve the appearance of their teeth, and one of the most conservative and maintainable ways to do this is through teeth whitening.  Teeth whitening is a process that removes stain from both the outside and inside of the teeth, leaving a brighter, whiter smile.  There are many products and methods available to bleach teeth including over-the-counter toothpastes and bleach strips, custom made bleaching trays, and in-office deep bleaching.

In order for the whitening process to work, the teeth need to be exposed to a bleaching material (typically some form of hydrogen peroxide) for a long enough period of time.  Because most over-the-counter products do not contain strong bleach material and the contact time is limited, most patients find these products to give limited results.

Custom Tray Whitening involves making a custom retainer which holds a whitening gel next to the teeth.  These trays can be worn either during the day or while the patient sleeps and are an effective way to whiten the teeth.  Some patients prefer trays since they can bleach at home but this method can take a couple of weeks to whiten the teeth.  Many patients want a quicker bleaching option that will get their teeth the whitest in the shortest amount of time.  This is where in-office deep bleaching is helpful.

Zoom Whitening is a process where we can whiten a patient’s teeth in about 90 minutes.  The benefit of Zoom is that it can get teeth up to 8 shades whiter in a very short time.  In addition to the in-office bleaching, our Zoom patients also receive custom bleach trays so they can maintain the appearance of their teeth at home.  To find out more about Zoom Whitening, visit our website at AlmoneyBrownDental.com and click on the Zoom icon.

If you want to know if you are a candidate for bleaching and what type of whitening is best for you, call our office for a free consultation.  Currently, we are charging $425 for In-Office Zoom Bleaching which includes the in-office bleaching session, custom bleach trays, take home bleach and de-sensitizing gel.  The cost for custom trays is $275 and includes custom bleach trays and enough take home bleach for two weeks of treatments.
